Chemical Peels

Chemical peels involve using various solutions to peel away the top layers of the skin, thereby, revealing the underlying, undamaged fresher and smoother skin. Improvement in facial blemishes, wrinkles, and uneven pigmentation can be seen. Depending on the strength and the peeling agent used, recovery times vary. Several different types of peels are offered ranging from light glycolic acid peels with minimal recovery to stronger more effective trichloroacetic acid (TCA) peels that takes longer to heal.
